We’re thrilled to see you exploring and becoming familiar with Ivonto! In this guide, we’ll walk you through setting up product variants in your store step-by-step.
What Are Product Variants?
Product variants represent the different options or combinations available for a single product. For example, a t-shirt might come in different colors (blue, black, red) and sizes (small, medium, large). Each unique combination—such as blue + small or black + large—is a product variant.
By defining variants, you can showcase all the options your product offers to your customers.
Defining Product Attributes and Values
To set up product variants, you’ll need to define attributes and their values:
Attributes: These are the characteristics of your product (e.g., color, size, type).
Values: These are the specific options for each attribute (e.g., for color: blue, black, red; for size: small, medium, large).
For instance:
Attribute 1: Color
Values: Blue, Black, Purple
Attribute 2: Size
Values: Small, Medium, Large
Combining these will create nine product variants, such as:
Blue + Small
Black + Medium
Purple + Large
