Setting up Collections in Your Store
Now that you have the knowledge of setting up and adding your products, let's move forward to see how you can set up collections in your store.
Collections
A product collection refers to a set of products that share some characteristics.
The product collections serve as a means of organizing products in your store in a systematic and user-friendly manner.
By creating collections, you can organize your products into logical categories that shoppers can easily navigate. This feature is especially helpful when customers are looking for something specific or want to explore a particular type of product.
Additionally, collections can be used as a marketing tool to promote your newest or most popular items.

The page displays key components of your collections, such as:
Collection Name
Slug
Items
You can quickly access options to edit or delete collections using the three-dotted menu associated with each collection.
Creating a Collection
To add a new collection to your store, follow these steps:
Access the Create Collection Option:
Click the "Create Collection" button located at the top right side of the collections page. You will be redirected to a new page where you can define your collection details.
Fill in Collection Details:
Title: Enter the name of the collection you want to create, such as "Summer Collection," "Winter Collection," or "Limited Edition."
Description: Provide a detailed description of your collection, including information such as collection validity and end time.
Media:
Upload a picture representing your collection theme. This image will serve as the profile or background for your collection.
You can also add media from an online URL. Ensure the URL is publicly available to display the images.
Search Engine Listing Preview:
Optimize your collection’s searchability on the web by defining the page title, meta description, and URL handle.
Collection Status:
Collection Status: Set the status of the collection as "Published," "Draft," or "Hidden."
Published: The collection is visible and searchable in your store.
Draft: The collection is not yet ready for product tagging.
Save and Publish:
After entering all the necessary details, click on the "Add" button on the top right to make the collection active in your store. If you’re not ready to publish, you can always save it as a draft and publish it later.
