Create a New Property:
In the Google Analytics Admin panel, go to the "Account" column and select your account.
In the "Property" column, click "Create Property."
Configure Property Settings:
Enter a name for your property (e.g., "My Store").
Select the reporting time zone and currency.
Click "Next" and select your industry category and business size.
Define How You Use Google Analytics:
Choose how you intend to use Google Analytics (e.g., to measure engagement, track conversions).
Click "Create" and accept the terms of service if prompted.
Add a Data Stream:
In the Admin β Property column, click "Data Streams" > "Add Stream."
Select "Web" as the target platform for your online store.
Obtain Your GA4 Property ID:
Once the property is set up, you will see your GA4 property ID in the format "Property - GA4 (98765432)."
Use this ID in the Ivonto admin panel to connect your store to GA4.
Migrating from Universal Analytics to GA4
If you were using Universal Analytics (UA), follow these steps to migrate to GA4:
In the Admin Panel, under your existing UA property, click on "GA4 Setup Assistant."
Create a New GA4 Property: The Setup Assistant will guide you through the process of creating a new GA4 property and configuring basic settings.
Link Your GA4 Property: Use the GA4 property ID to link it to your Ivonto store through the integration settings.
Finding Your Google Tag ID
To connect your Google Analytics account with Ivonto, you'll need your Google Tag ID. Here's how to find it:
Sign in to Your Google Analytics Account:
Go to the Google Analytics website and log in with your Google account credentials.
Access the Admin Settings:
Click "Admin" in the left-hand menu.
In the "Property" column, select the relevant property.
Locate the Data Stream:
Click "Data Streams" under the Property column.

Configure Tag Settings:
In the "Google Tag" section, click "Configure Tag Settings."
Here, you will find your Google Tag ID, which starts with "G-" or "AW-."
